GIE + Expo: A Great Opportunity to Network & Learn

A few weeks ago, our team at Include Software traveled to Louisville, Kentucky to take part in the green industry’s GIE + Expo. We got to meet a lot of great people and we learned what you, our customers, want to know about our product.

In the Dark

Do you remember the intense thunderstorm that hit Louisville on the first day of the show? Half of the trade show floor was in the dark.  Our half.

We were impressed how the trade show was busy with people still stopping at booths and taking in the show as a whole—even in the dark. We certainly enjoyed meeting all of you who stopped by our booth. We loved hearing how our product helps your business succeed. And we’re excited to feature those success stories in future case studies.

Speaking of case studies, read how this Missouri landscape company saw an 11% increase after implementing our software.

Asset Users Group Reception

Thank you to those of you who attended our annual Asset Users Group Reception at Champions Bar and Grille. We had over 150 people attending—making this get together a huge success!

We enjoyed meeting and talking to all of you who attended our reception. We also loved meeting new clients face-to-face, making new connections and getting introduced to new people.

One way we got to connect: Bill and I had the honor of facilitating tables at the National Association of Landscape Professionals’ Breakfast of Champions. We observed how different table topics ignited great conversations with lots of new ideas and information being shared.

And Bill had the opportunity to attend the CEO forum with keynote speakers, Marty Grunder and Mark Sanborn. Bill enjoyed the forum and learned a lot from it.

Why We Attend Green Industry Trade Shows

The team at Include software doesn’t go to Landscapes and GIE + Expo with the sole intent of “selling” our software. Instead, we go to network with you—our clients and new people interested in our product.

Our goal?

To listen and then ultimately provide better software and services based on your feedback.

We want to know what parts of our software are helping you run your landscape business and what parts aren’t working. We take that valuable information and use it to improve our product’s development—so your business can continue to thrive.

We also got a chance to talk to a lot of different people who are interested in Include software products. We were able to educate these attendees on how Include software can help them run the administrative and operational parts of their business more efficiently—and to save them time and money in the long run.

Folks who visited our booth for the first time also enjoyed hearing how our software enables their landscape company to consolidate workflow, data and other vital company information into one place.

We also learned that a lot of you are interested in mobile technology for field operations that allows the home office to stay connected with crew leaders out working on properties.

Our takeaway?

GIE + Expo provided a great opportunity for us to learn what you want to see in Include software as well as to network with green industry folks.
